Eaglestones House Clearance House Clearance were called by a gentleman whom was a local authority tenant. He was facing eviction from his property in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire as it had fallen into a state of disrepair. The tenant was part of a rejuvenation scheme being carried out by the local authority, but upon an inspection it became clear that unfortunately, the work could not be carried out. The tenant was an habitual hoarder, he was informed that if he did not clear out the property then the planned work could not go ahead and he would be evicted. We were asked to clear all hallways, lounge and 2 of the 3 bedrooms within the house.
House Clearance Summary
The team of 3 members of staff, all of whom are fully licensed and wearing full uniform, arrived at the property in Ripon at 8.30am as arranged with the customer, to carry out the partial house clearance in one of our large furniture luton vans. We were met at the property by the customer to gain entry and he remained in the property throughout the clearance. The house clearance took the team 4 hours 15 minutes to complete.
Disposal of House Contents
Unfortunately, none many of the contents removed were fit for charity. We did however, sort out as much as possible which items could be recycled. These items were taken to a local pro recycling centre where they were categorised to be recycled.
Customer Review
Although the customer was extremely pleased with the work, it was bittersweet for him. He was sad to see almost a lifetimes worth of his possessions removed. On the plus side, we found a substantial amount of money buried under the clutter, the customer was very pleased as he had no idea that it was there.
